Meet Our Certified Public Accountants
Selene Petersen is a Eugene native and she loves it. She attended Eugene Bible College, now known as New Hope Christian College. After receiving her CPA license, she became a partner to the business, merged, and helped create Principle Accounting (formerly HPBQ).
Selene is highly involved with her community. She is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Emerald Empire Chapter council. She is the President on the board of Christians of Family Advocates. Additionally, she is on the Northwest Christian University Board of Trustees, and is Treasurer of Lane Business Referral Partners. When she finds time away from her busy schedule, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking, wine tasting, her book club, and anything outdoors.
She specializes in individual and business tax, business growth, estates and trusts. She loves to help small businesses and entrepreneurs that are ready to make the transition into better financial planning. She believes Principle Accounting is unique in that they truly care about clients. “Clients are more than just a number, and we want to know what’s going on in their lives.” Her advice for business owners is to find a good CPA! Christopher L. Berry, CPA
Chris Berry is a graduate from the University of Oregon, proud husband to Susie, and father of four. Chris has lived in Eugene for many years and loves what he does. He has been a CPA since 2008, and through his career, he is able to help people by sharing his wisdom of financial advising. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching baseball, building items for his kids, and taking care of his family’s small farm.
He is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He specializes in tax, investments, and overall accounting advice. He believes in having a personal relationship with clients to maintain a people-orientated business. He loves helping people save money, go over income expenses, and minimize tax burdens.
He enjoys creating “win-win situations” for his clients, and values his connections with everyone that walks into Principle Accounting’s office. Dennis M. Quigley, CPA
Dennis Quigley was born and raised in the Eugene/Springfield area, and is a University of Oregon alum. He married his wife Lisa in 1997, and they have two children together. Outside of the office, he enjoys sports, going on walks, spending time with his family and staying active in his community.
Dennis has attended First Baptist Church of Eugene since he was young, and still attends regularly. He is a member of the Emerald Empire Chapter of Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently the Council Chair and has served on the board for several years. He is also a part of the Emerald Valley Professionals Chapter of Oregon Networking Exchange.
Dennis specializes in small businesses and individuals, and helps clients with compliance and growth issues. He enjoys helping clients understand the financial aspects of their business, and loves assisting them in taking ownership of their tax and accounting future. His advice to business owners is to be surrounded by a group of professionals to implement specific steps.
